Teach Print
In each unit, you'll find video tutorials, descriptions & brief histories of printmaking processes, key vocabulary & concepts, and how to adapt printmaking techniques to fit the classroom. We have slides, step-by-step handouts, and other materials to help plan printmaking lessons.
Use a needle in a drypoint technique to scratch an image on a matrix made by repurposing food containers into a plastic plate.
Use stickers and contact paper to design a collagraph plate. Experiment further by gluing just about anything to the plate to get interesting textures in the print.
Use a ballpoint pen, crayon, and permanent marker to draw on a matrix made from aluminum foil. The aluminum can be dunked in a bath of cola to set the image up to be inked for lithography.
